Two children, a brother and a sister go to school. There is a forest on their way to school. Suddenly the boy says to his sister: «We have much time, let’s go to the forest and play there».

The girl wants to go into the forest too. So they put their books on the grass and go into the forest. They see a squirrel. The boy says:

«Little squirrel, come and play with us”.

«I have no time”, says the squirrel. “I must get nuts. I must get ready for the winter. I cannot play with you.”

Then the children see a bee. The boy says:

“Little bee, come and play with us”.

“I have no time”, says the bee. “I must make honey. I cannot play with you.”

The dove says: “ I cannot play with you. I have no time. I must make a nest for my babies.”

Nobody wants to play with the children.

So they go to the river. They say to the river,”You don’t work. You come and play with us”.

But the river says: “I cannot play with you.  I work all day. I give water to the fields. I give water to the flowers. I give water to the squirrel, to the bee,  to the dove and to girls and boys like you. Go away. You go to school.”

The children go to school. On the way home, they go into the forest again.

The squirrel says to the children:

“Work is over. School is over. Let’s play now.”

The bee says,”Work is over. School is over. Come and play with me now.”

Ones upon a time in a village there lived a poor farmer whit his wife. They had noting but a little farm where they grey vegetables that they could eat. However, he managed to save a little money each time he sold vegetables from his farm. Eventually he saved up enough money to buy a goose. He took it home and made a nest for it to lay eggs. The goose will produce eggs which he could use for selling, eating and making bread, thought the farmer. The next morning when he went to gather some eggs for his breakfast he lifted the goose and to his surprise the goose had laid a golden egg. The next morning, he found another egg and the next, and the next. Slowly and steadily, the farmer and his wife were becoming richer and richer. “Just think” if we could have all the golden eggs that are inside the goose, we could be richer much faster. ” You’re right” We wouldn’t have to wait for the goose to lay her egg every day. So, the couple killed the goose and cat her open only find that she was just like every other goose. She had no golden eggs inside of her at all, and they had no more golden. Alas. Now the farmer and his wife had lost the goose and they would never get any golden eggs again.

I liked this story. The story is about a poor man and his wife. They found a goose that laid golden eggs. They were rich. But they wanted to be richer and they wanted the goose lay a golden egg faster. The goose couldn’t lay golden eggs every day and couple killed the goose. They had no golden eggs the goose. They were very greedy.
